New! Introducing the newest liquid chalkless innovation - the world's first Hygienic Silicon Hand Grip
Why use ours?
What are the deficiencies associated with conventional chalk?
Using chalk regularly presents several significant challenges, one of the most concerning being its tendency to dry out your skin, making it feel rough and cracked over time. A key characteristic of chalk is its hygroscopic nature, which means that it can absorb moisture from the surrounding air.
When you clap your hands together to disperse the chalk or train in an environment filled with chalk dust, tiny particles can easily become airborne. Inhaling this dust can irritate your respiratory system, leading to a range of uncomfortable symptoms such as persistent coughing, wheezing, or even shortness of breath, which can be particularly troubling during intense workouts. It can particularly worsen symptoms of asthma for some and can have long-term effects such as COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and breathing issues
Furthermore, it’s important to note that some individuals may develop an allergic reaction to chalk dust. This can manifest in various ways, including itching and the development of rashes or hives, which not only cause physical discomfort but can also create distractions during training or competition.
Why is ours different?
We set out to revolutionise the way chalk is applied and used, ensuring it’s safer for both you, your skin and the environment where you train.
Our innovative vegan formula is free from harsh chemicals and traditional chalk. Instead, it features a unique silicone, that deflects sweat and allows effortless application and quick removal. You won’t have any annoying residue left on your hands that needs to be “clapped” off, as is common with many chalks, including liquid ones.
This means you can jump straight into your training routine in seconds while keeping yourself, your equipment, and your training space clean and chalk-free.
Over the past 18 months, we have been engaged in the development of this formula, which has undergone rigorous testing by a consortium of training professionals representing a diverse array of training backgrounds. The results obtained have been noteworthy, demonstrating an enhanced capacity for achieving a greater number of repetitions and a stronger grip when compared to conventional chalk-based products.
